When you go into the music menu, you will see that files are arranged in folders by artist, album, title, genre and playlist. You might think you'll need management software to organize all this, but you don't. You simply copy what you want onto the player, and the Gmini takes care of organizing it. It recognizes the tags and classifies the selections all by itself; then it's up to you to choose how to navigate through the media. When a selection is being played, the screen displays the song's usual information along with the CD's cover art.
