Tesco Mobile Undercuts Rivals on Moto G Pricing

By - Source: via Tesco Direct | B 2 comments

Cheaper than chips.

Motorola’s Moto G is really, really cheap. However, that doesn’t mean carriers can’t discount the phone even further. According to the Tesco Direct, Tesco is offering the phone for as little as £99. And yes, that’s on Pay As You Go. If you’re looking for the 16 GB option, that’ll set you back just £129.

The prices are significantly lower than what other retailers are asking. Phones 4u, for example, is offering the 8 GB model on PAYG on T-Mobile, Vodafone, Virgin Mobile, O2, and Orange for £120. The 16 GB model is available for £150 on PAYG from the same carriers.

The Moto G packs Qualcomm's quad-core Snapdragon 400 CPU and 1 GB of RAM as well as a 4.5-inch 720p display (329 ppi), 5-megapixel camera in the back, a 1.3-megapixel lens up front, 2070 mAh battery and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Motorola, a Google-owned company, is promising an upgrade to Android 4.4 KitKat in January.

Weird, I cant find the Moto G for sale on pay as you go on either the Tesco Direct or the Tesco Mobile websites, only the pay monthly deal.

A link to said offer would be nice....
