Teetering at US$3: Fear of DRAM price depression revisits
Despite hopes that DRAM spot prices would rebound following Micron Technology and Hynix Semiconductor signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU), the dreary state of DRAM spot prices is likely to drag on for a while. According to DRAMeXchange, global 128Mbit SDRAM prices dropped to US$3.05 on April 25, leaving DRAM makers resolutely standing guard to keep prices above the dangerously low US$3.
