Teacher sells student's coat on eBay
Hillsboro (OR) - A Hillsboro teacher is accused of stealing a student’s coat and then selling it on eBay. 41-year-old elementary school teacher Elizabeth Logan was arrested by local police when an observant mother saw her daughter’s winter coat on the popular online auction site.
Logan is being charged with two felonies, one for theft and one for computer crime. She was caught after Leah Corso, the girl’s mother, contacted police after seeing the auction. The younger Corso had lost her Columbia ski jacket in the playground and Leah searched on eBay for a replacement.
