Targa rolls out notebook with 750 GB hard disk space
Milpitas (CA) - Enthusiast PC maker Targa has upgraded the option list for its Raptor-60 notebook, which can now be equipped with up to three 2.5" hard disks and a Blu-ray drive.
Targa claims that the notebook is the first laptop of its kind to support RAID 5 by installing three 2.5" drives with up to 250 GB capacity each. The company is also offering a Blu-ray drive as an option for the notebook, which has a base price of $2645.
Included in the standard configuration is a 17" display, a Core 2 Duo E6300 CPU, a GeForce Go 7950 chip, 512 MB memory, a 40 GB HDD and a DVD burner. Equipped with a Core 2 Extreme X6800 processor, two GeForce 7950 graphics GPUs, 4 GB memory, 750 GB storage space, a Blu-ray drive, the price quickly jumps into the $7000 range.
