Taiwan's large 2001 investment in China yeilds major returns
Almost 60% of Taiwan's publicly listed electronics companies invested in China last year, and their aggregate investment returns came to NT$8.141 billion, a study by DigiTimes shows. Of 413 listed electronics companies, 246 companies invested in China last year, and among them 101 generated a profit, 121 posted a loss and 24 companies broke even in their operations.
