Taiwan production of 14 IT products ranked No. 1 worldwide in 2001
A report compiled by the Industrial Technology Information Service (ITIS) shows that in 2001, Taiwan claimed to rank among the top three global producers of 40 industry products. Among them were 24 IT products, including LCD monitors, wireless LAN products, ADSL modems and DRAM.
