Taiwan notebook manfs. forge ahead with WAPI-compliant products
Digitimes reports that Taiwan-based notebook manufacturers plan to ship notebooks that incorporate wireless LAN cards or modules that comply with WAPI requirements.
The story says that "the Chinese-language Economic Daily News reported today that Taiwan-based BenQ is cooperating with Chinese companies that are authorized to implement the WAPI standards and is expected to roll out its first WAPI-based notebook this month at the earliest".
