Taiwan MLCC makers go mainstream and give up niche production
In a move to cut costs and grab market share, some of Taiwan's multi-layer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) manufacturers have recently begun to adjust production proportions, shifting emphasis toward volume production of standard MLCCs and gradually phasing out small-volume production of niche products, report Taiwanese passive component distributors.
