Taiwan LCD monitor producers expect July shipments to increase slightly
Judging from orders on hand, Taiwanese LCD monitor producers predict their July shipments will increase slightly and the driving force behind the increase will mainly come from distributors. Taiwanese producers expect to receive 10-20% more orders from distributors in July than in June while orders from major PC system companies will remain about the same. It is understood that currently distributors maintain a two to three-week LCD monitor inventory, lower than the four to five-week inventory kept by system companies.
