The end of Taiwan glass substrate industry
With Picvue Optoelectronics International (POI) closing down its business, Taiwan is officially out of the LCD glass substrate market. STN LCD maker Picvue Electronics, parent company of POI, yesterday announced that POI is officially closed via a filing with the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE).
