Supreme Commander, UT3, Warhammer

Supreme Commander appears to be CPU limited no matter which configuration we look at, and overclocking benefits both the current and former builds nicely. The current overclock outshines that of the former system by a wide margin.

Even at increased visual levels, Supreme Commander appears CPU limited. A moderately-high CPU clock speed gives the latest $1000 build a significant lead.

UT3 preferred our previous configuration, yet both the current and former builds were perfectly playable all the way up to 1920 by 1200 pixels.

If you love Warhammer, the current $1000 build will surely satisfy your gaming ambitions, but only when overclocked. The previous build struggles even at 1024 by 768 pixels.
