Our current $4000 build comes up barely short of the March system in 3D Studio Max, even though its overclocked speed is significantly lower.
Cinema4D takes longer to finish, so it shows the performance gap a little better.
Adobe Photoshop slapped us for not achieving the same CPU speed in the current build as we had during our March overclock.
AVG Antivirus was a little gentler on our current build, possible due to its higher memory or hard drive speeds.
WinRAR responds well to faster hard drives as well as CPU speed, and we’re happy to see that we at least made the right choice with a pair of Samsung F1’s.
