Symantec owes $1billion in back taxes says IRS
Security software vendor Symantec said it had received notice from the US tax collection agency that it owes about $1 billion in back taxes. The news sent Symantec shares down nearly 5% to $15.62 in after-hours trading on the Nasdaq.
