Winchester Systems FlashSSD (Solid State Disk) is a non-volatile solid-state disk product that Winchester says delivers a sustained and constant 12,000 I/O operations per second and 40 MB per second data throughput. FlashSSD is available in models that range from 500 MB to 10 GB of non-volatile storage in a single 5.25" high rackmount unit. A typical FlashSSD model with 500 MB of storage and SCSI interconnect is priced at $20,200.
