Suse Linux 10.0 RC1 available for download
Linux distributor Suse today publsihed the download of the first release candidate of its upcoming operating system Suse Linux 10.0. According to the manufacturer, this preview code-named "Nürnberg" is virtually bug-free, with minor issues relating to required manual additions to the KDE default installation. Also, the software only runs on i686, but not on i586 computers.
The final version of Suse Linux 10.0 is expected to launch on October 6. The software is based on GCC 4.0 and will ship exclusively with open source programs. Download links for the RC1 can be found here . (THG)
