Surfing the Net - from your car
Ford Motor Company will add voice-activated systems to some 2001 Lincoln vehicles that will give drivers access to the Internet.
At the annual North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the automaker also announced a deal with Yahoo! that includes personalized services for Ford car owners who are registered Yahoo! users.
Detroit has been increasingly turning to the Internet's biggest players to develop closer ties to car owners. In December, General Motors and America Online agreed to launch a GM channel on AOL.
