Supply of Bluetooth chips falls 30% short
Demand for Bluetooth chips has been exceeding supply by 30% since the end of the third quarter and tight supply will not ease before year-end, according to local Bluetooth module makers and Apache Communication, the distributor for UK-based Cambridge Silicon Radio (CSR) Bluetooth chips in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea.
