Sun Launches Gaming Division
Sun Microsystems has just announced that it will be spinning off a division focusing solely on the network gaming market. "Sun hopes to attract game developers to the Java language in building software for the millions of network-connected desktops, consoles and mobile devices." . At the JavaOne user conference being held in San Francisco next week, Sun plan to hold a Video Game Summit, "offering case studies, developer insight, game demos and techniques for using Java technology in game development" .
