Sun boosts Sun Fire V1280 processor
Sun Microsystems Inc. is boosting the processor clock speed on its 12-way Sun Fire V1280 server. "The V1280 will ship with 1.2GHz UltraSparc III processors, instead of the 900MHz it had previously included, effective Thursday, Sun said."
