Sun Microsystems Inc. said Friday it has agreed to acquire CenterRun Inc., a privately held company that makes network software. "The deal, an all-cash transaction, was expected to close in the first quarter of Sun’s 2004 fiscal year. Redwood City, Calif.-based CenterRun would become part of Sun’s software unit, led by Executive Vice President Jonathan Schwartz. The value of the deal was not disclosed."
