XFX GeForce 7950GX2 slide show
Last but not least is Nvidia's latest double-decker creation, the GeForce 7950GX2. It has twice as much of everything, as the GeForce 7950GX2 is really two cards in one. The processor on each PCB (printed circuit board) is similar to that on the GeForce 7900GT, but runs slower clock speeds.
The core on the XFX XXX GeForce 7950GX2 (pronounced "Triple X") runs 70 MHz above the Nvidia specification at 570 MHz. The 1 GB of GDDR3 memory clocks in 25 MHz below the Nvidia reference specification at 775 MHz (1.55 GHz DDR).
This model is HDCP and RoHS compliant for HS content. It comes with VIVO for video capture and output to digital monitors including the 30" panels from Dell and Apple. The packaging also includes a cable to deliver and capture video.
In addition to the cables and installation guide, the package includes a copy of Tomb Raider Legend. When the system boots you can hear the cards for a brief moment, but the noise then quickly goes and stays away. The cards are quiet; CPU and PSU fans produce more noise even when firing up some games.
