For the last few years, Stompfest has been the second largest party in the Midwest United States (behind LANWAR/MML) typically hosting two annual events in the spring and fall.

Ron Rebennack and Bradley Worrell-Smith have been the driving force behind Stompfest since 2000, hosting seven events previous to this one and providing low pings for over 1,500 plus gamers.

Ron, Brad, and other dedicated Stompfest staffers have put in many weekends of work leading up to the culmination of this event, but the gamers of this region have been waiting for this weekend for much longer than six months.

Stompfest Staff Nuno kicks off the festivities with his killer rendition of the U.S. National Anthem.

It's been a year and a half since the last Stompfest event was held. With the Spring 2005 event cancelled and Autumn 2004 venue complications, some gamers in the local LAN party community were beginning to wonder if we've seen the last Stompfest. But this year, sceptics' worries were laid to rest as Stompfest managed fill 197 of 200 available seats. Indeed, not only is Stompfest not dead, it is very much alive and kicking.

FayTal seems quite happy that she beat all the boys and won the trivia contest by PC Club.
