I heard about starcraft2 12 years ago.

the beta was good, I have faith the three large campaigns will be long and satisfying.

I also have faith in Jim Raynor lol.

From what I've heard its got the exact same game play as the original... I hated the original, so it doesn't look good for me.

However the cut scenes look kick ass, so I might get it out of curiosity.

I'm just about to go and pick it up. It's nearly 10am here, and just got my call from the shop saying they have it on the shelf with a post-it, with my name on it! :D

In general...yes. But it's worth getting if your a fan just because you no longer have to assign each probe to the minerals. God bless rally points.

wait...
they spent twelve years developing a game and they didn't even change thje mechanics?! so they spent twelve ears making a few large campaigns and upgrading graphics...

Don't be stupid, of course they didn't spend 12 years making the game. Most of Blizzards dev team was working on wow. Also Blizzard are/were making other games. I'd say it's taken maybe 3 years to make.

And from what I hear the campaigns aren't meant to be that long. Afterall it is only part 1 of 3.
