Lucas Arts, Sony offer free 14-day trial for Star Wars Galaxies
In an effort to attract new and more users to Star Wars Galaxies, Lucas Arts and Sony have launched a new campaign promoting the online adventure. Users can play the game, including "An Empire Divided" and its first expansion "Jump to Lightspeed" free of charge for a period of 14 days.

Players who decide to stay in the community can continue their adventures with full versions of An Empire Divided and Jump to Lightspeed. Players will also receive a copy of Rage of the Wookiees, the second expansion to Star Wars Galaxies, via a free download.
Star Wars Galaxies plays along the Star Wars plot. Players will begin as a captive onboard an imperial space station and have to escape with Han Solo and Chewbacca with using the Millenium Falcon. Throughout the game, players can choose their own path and can become part of the rebel or imperial side.
