ST and UMC sign multi-year manufacturing agreement
On July 18, STMicroelectronics (ST) and United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) announced the signing of a multi-year manufacturing agreement extending their existing cooperation. Without giving concrete details, the companies said UMC would flexibly reserve wafer capacity for ST and work together to improve manufacturing processes.
