Spansion extends NOR flash foundry orders to 90nm at TSMC
Spansion announced that the company has expanded its foundry partnership with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) to 90nm for its MirrorBit-made NOR flash with production set to increase in the second half of 2007. Spansion said demand for its NOR flash chips is strong and the extended partnership with TSMC could align the company’s manufacturing capacity to fluctuating demand thereby ensuring a steady supply to customers.
