Spansion selected as main flash memory supplier for Lenovo handsets
Spansion announced it was selected by Lenovo Mobile Communications Technology as the principal supplier of flash memory to be used in handset products. Lenovo plans to leverage Spansion’s proprietary Mirror Bit flash memory technology to bring innovative phones to the Chinese market, enabling advanced features, such as CD-quality audio and photos with resolution of up to 4 megapixels, according to Spansion.
