Spain unveils supercomputer plans
Spain has unveiled plans to build the world’s second most powerful computer - just behind NEC’s ’Earth Simulator’. The supercomputer will be able to process 40 teraflops - 40 trillion calculations per second, equivalent to 18,000 personal computers.
