SOYO to Enter the Wireless Market With Launch of Aerielink
SOYO today introduced a new line of complete wireless networking products for the expanding home and SOHO users. SOYO's new Aerielink wireless router kit is the first in the new line of high reliability wireless routers and access points, network interface cards (NIC), and wireless gateways.
Based on the maturing IEEE 802.11b standard, the Aerielink Wireless Router Kit, AS-WRO1401, features a wireless router and wireless USB adaptor for desktop and mobile devices. The Aerielink kit is agressively priced with a MSRP of $169 and features a user-friendly setup interface enabling plug-and-play capability.

The AS-WRO1401 transfer rate of 11 Mbps, and support for 64- and 128-bit Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) encryption for secured networking, and two antennas (internal and external) for extended transmission range. The Aerielink wireless router demystifies wireless networking with its full feature set and universal compatibility. It also offers IP sharing, firewall, and can double as a 4-port switch or home gateway.
The Aerielink Wireless Router Kit is available immediately through authorized SOYO resellers.
