SOYO Posts Bios Upgrades for Athlon XP
Dying to install a new Athlon XP, but unsure if your motherboard will support it? If you have a SOYO motherboard, you may be in luck. The company just let us know that it has posted BIOS upgrades to support AMD's new Athlon XP 1800+ microprocessors for six of its motherboards. Mobos that will support the Athlon XP with an upgrade include K7VTA PRO (BIOS ver. 2AA5); K7ADA (ver. 2BA2); K7VEM (ver. 2AA2); K7VEM+ (ver. 2AA2); K7V DRAGON (ver. 2AA3) and K7V DRAGON-Plus (ver. 2AA1). The new BIOS' can be downloaded from SOYO's website (I'd give you the exact location, but it doesn't show a unique URL. Hate that).
