Sony's PS3 - Resistance is Futile
This week the Game Developer Conference is taking place in San Jose. The San Jose Mercury News has a piece here about Sony's plans for the PS3 as the bigwigs of electronic entertainment development roll into town.
By all accounts, Sony is upping the ante with the PS3, expected in 2005, but debate still rages as to how complex programming the new box will be. Developers at GDC hope to get more information from Sony this week to help them plan ahead, but they also griped about how difficult it was to program the PS2 initially.
The battle between Sony and Microsoft is taking more away from the multimedia PC in the long run.
