Sony upgrades Japanese PS2
Next week, Sony will begin selling a version of the PlayStation 2 game console in Japan equipped with the expansion bay slot that has been included in the US and European versions. The upgrade will allow the addition of a broadband-ready hard drive that, according to the company, allow users to access the Internet several times faster than current connections and run enriched games requiring the hard drive's increased storage.
