Despite Microsoft's gains, Sony to lead in game consoles, says In-Stat
The PlayStation 3 (PS3) will ship the most consoles in the next generation, but Sony’s lead will be diminished from the current generation, according to research firm In-Stat. Sony launched the PS2 one to two years before the competition in the current generation, while Microsoft has beaten Sony to the punch in the next generation.
