Sony showcases 1.5" plastic TFT LCD
Sony recently showcased a 1.5" TFT LCD, made of plastic material, according to the Nihon Keizai Shimbun . The product is only 0.4mm thick and weighs 0.5 grams, in contrast to a glass-made product of the same size being 1.4mm thick and weighing 3.5 grams.
