Sony begins shipping new 1080p MD RPTVs
Sony recently began shipping two new Grand WEGA micro-display rear projection high-definition TVs (HDTVs). The 70" KDS-R70XBR2 and 60" KDS-R60XBR2, which use Sony’s three 0.61" SXRD chips, support full resolution of 1920×1080 and are based on the company’s Silicon X-tal Reflective Display (SXRD) technology.
