Sony's new laptops cash in on upcoming James Bond movie
Not everyone can be James Bond, but at least you can buy his laptop. Sony is offering a new line of James Bond 007-branded Vaio TX and Vaio UX laptop packages. Along with a laptop, Sony is through in a Cyber-shot digital camera, display privacy filter and aluminum attaché case.
The Vaio TX laptop is powered with an Intel Core Solo U1400 Ultra Low Voltage Processor running at 1.2 GHz. The laptop is less than one-inch thin and weighs only 2.76 lbs. A 7.2 megapixel Cyber-shot camera is also included.
The Vaio UX package comes with a slightly slower notebook powered with an Intel Core Solo processor running at 1.2 GHz. A Bluetooth GPS receiver is also included. An embossed attaché case and a display privacy filter are included with both packages.
Every limited edition item in the package bears the signature 007 logo. The Vaio TX package will be available in mid-November for $3900, while the Vaio UX will sell for $3200.
The Casino Royale movie will appear in theaters on November 17th, 2006.
