Sony greenlights the gray market
Sony has decided to acknowledge the reality that people will spend actual money to buy items that exist only on their servers. In a note posted Station.com, Sony Online Enterainment President John Smedley announced "Station Exchange," an eBay-like service which will allow EverQuest II players to buy and sell virtual goods. It’s a big change for Sony, which had previously forbidden such activity.
