Sony cell chips to arrive in 2005
A report in the Taipei Times said Sony will start making so-called "Cell" chips in 2005, in preparation for the successor to the Playstation 2. "The firm is pinning its hopes on Cell technology, explained in our still popular article here, to trounce the opposition."
