Sony announces Sound Forge 8 audio editor
Sony’s media software division launched a new version of the audio editing software Sound Forge. The eighth generation of the program adds a CD mastering tool for Red Book audio CD creation. Several new features include scripting functionality and batch processing, customizable keyboard commands, as well as support for low-latency ASIO drivers and VST plug-ins. The software will be shipping at the end of February for about $400. (THG)
