Sony Adopts SiS648 Chipset on VAIO Notebook Series
SiS today announced that leading electronics manufacturer Sony Corporation will use the SiS648 chipset in its current and upcoming line of VAIO GR Series of high performance notebook computers. "Sony chose the SiS648 chipset because of it’s proven performance record in the high-performance desktop market, and will manufacture notebooks with 15, 16, and 17 inch screens based on the SiS648."
