Sonnetech calibrates more colors
Monitor manufacturers Acer Peripherals Inc. and Art Media, as well as graphics card vendor VideoLogic, have agreed to bundle Sonnetech's Colorific and 3Deep software with their hardware.
Sonnetech's two software programs are aimed at improving various aspects of the display process.
Colorific calibrates monitor colors and adjusts for color consistency between the monitor and peripheral devices, such as the printer.
3Deep uses "per channel gamma correction" to create more pleasing pictures for Microsoft DirectX- and 3Dfx Glide-based games and 3D applications.
