by - source: Tom's Hardware

Some buyers of Sega America's vaunted Dreamcast game console are complaining that certain games for the system refuse to load properly.

One online game retailer reports that about half of the total shipment of Sonic Adventure games was found to be faulty. GameSpot TV documented problems with two games - Sonic Adventure and Blue Stinger - which would not load correctly until a special Sega boot disk had been loaded first. The boot disks were distributed only to system developers and to editorial publications so that beta software could be previewed.
