Socket maker Chupond sues six socket, mobo and distributor companies
Taiwan-based socket manufacturer Chupond Precision on June 18 filed a patent infringement lawsuit in the Taipei District Court against six companies - Asustek Computer, Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS), Aurora Group, Tsannkuen Group, Win Win Precision and Golden-Tech. The case has attracted much attention in the industry, as Chupond listed not only socket makers but also board companies and distributors as defendants.
