Sources: CMO to set up second 8G LCD plant
Chi Mei Optoelectronics (CMO) recently commenced construction of an eighth-generation (8G) plant and sixth-generation (6G) plant in southern Taiwan, and now the Chinese-language Economic Daily News is reporting that the panel maker has decided to set up a second 8G plant (or above) at the Kaoshiung Science Park (KSP).
The company stated it was unable to comment on the news as it is in a quiet period.
