SMIC and GSMC land US$1.3 billion in loans
Approved last October, Shanghai foundry giants Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC) and Grace Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation (GSMC) have now appropriated a combined US$1.3 billion (10 billion yuan) in loans from domestic banks, relieving financial difficulties, reported the Nanfang Daily News .
