SMC Launches New Workgroup Managed Switch
Switch and router maker SMC Networks unveiled Thursday the newest member of its TigerSwitch family, the TigerSwitch 10/100 Standalone L3 24-port Managed Switch, which it’s aiming at enterprise workgroups and small- and mid-sized businesses. "The new switch boasts two-dozen 10/100 Ethernet ports, and according to SMC, boosts router speed by using traffic-prioritizing protocols such as OSPF and DVMRP."
