SMC adds low-cost 8 port managed switch with fiber uplink
SMC today announced a new member of its TigerSwitch product line.
The SMC6709FL2 is an managed eight auto-MDI / MDI-X port 10/100 switch with 100BASE-FX MMF/SC uplink port. It supports an aggregate bandwidth of up to 2.0 Gbps with a non-blocking switching architecture and features that include IEEE802.1Q VLAN, GVRP and priority queuing. The fan-free switch also supports MAC address-based filtering and blocking.
The SMC6709FL2 will be available beginning February 6 at an MSRP of $329.99 .
