SMC adds Barricade G wireless line
SMC today joined the draft-11g WLAN party with the announcement of a wireless router and two client adapters. All devices are based on Intersil's PRISM GT chipset.
The SMC2804WBR Wireless Cable/DSL Broadband Router ($140) is a 4-port 10/100 switched router with SPI- based firewall. The two adapters include the SMC2835W Wireless Cardbus Adapter ($80) and SMC2802W Wireless PCI Card ($90). (All prices are suggested list.)
All products will be available in March .
