2nd Step: Setting Up The BT Headset
Ad
The next step involves setting up the BT headset. Simply call up the Bluetooth Connection Manager and select Hands-free/Handset setup.

Then, prepare the headset for the following pairing process. The button on the headset to press for this varies from model to model. It is generally the on/off button, which must be held down for 20 or more seconds before the device switches to pairing mode.

The headset usually signals this operating mode by alternately flashing its LEDs red/green and blue. Finally, enter the pass key to authorize the PDA to connect with the headset. On many devices the key is a simple four-digit number such as 0000, 1111 or perhaps 1234.
